Kenya way far behind the finish line
Political class in Kenya have always wanted to make the electorate think they are expandable, this has been evident in the recent past as the build up to 2017 polls gets underway. We have leaders who think politics is a game of divide and rule, others think that hand outs are a way of being popular among the electorate but others think making headlines for all wrong reasons wins them popularity. For close to 6 months, I have been on personal retreat in makueni County. Despite my silent mood over the period, I have learned that we may be way far from Canaan. We may keep on roaming in the wilderness of ignorance and idiosyncratic thinking. This is because of the trait that Kenyans have in mind that give us our murder and take your saint. I have listened to a local vernacular station with a state connection and just realized that we may be far from the promised land full of milk and honey.
