Tweet                                                                Nairobi Comprehensive Peace Agreement Commonly known as CPA that led to the succession of South Sudan from the oppressive North Sudan laid foundations to the newly and youngest African state role in the stability of the entire great lakes Peace. However, the stand off over the Abyei conflict seems to be dragging the two countries into unprecedented agony that may require the United Nations intervene. Museveni’s statement on ICC may hurt the Uhuru’s case

President Museveni applauded Kenyans for rejecting the blackmail by the West on the status of the ICC suspects saying that the sovereignty of the Kenyans remained entirely with them. The East African Chair of the summit of the head of states said that Africa should be left alone to solve its own problems and not inviting foreign courts to administer justice.
